Dr. Pradeep Subrahmanyan – CEO:
Dr. Pradeep Subrahmanyan has 15 years experience in various aspects of precision engineering from motion control, actuator design and laser materials processing. Dr. Subrahmanyan graduated with his Ph.D. from MIT and worked at Seagate Technology on magnetic recording technology. Subsequently, he worked at Electro Scientific Industries leading technology and business activities in laser micromachining and laser trimming. He was also responsible for creating a company-wide common platform architecture which is being adopted across business units. Dr. Subrahmanyan has extensive experience in process simulation and development, product development and technical marketing. He has authored five issued patents and eight patents pending besides invited publications at various technical conferences. Dr. Subrahmanyan is also on the board of directors of the American Society of Precision Engineering (ASPE).

Ms. Ramona Alves – VP of Operations:
Ramona E. Alves was President and Chief Executive Officer of CHAT Communication Services (CCS), a bootstrap business she founded in 1986. Ms. Alves grew CCS into a full service Engineering, Procurement and Installation company for Broadband Telecom reaching revenues in excess of $17.5 million with employees totaling over 150. During its’ tenure, CCS earned yearly awards in QA and On-Time delivery with Pacific Bell and SBC Telecom. She has been a member of various Public and Not for Profit Boards, including the Marin County Affirmative Advisory Committee and Workforce Investment Boards. Ms. Alves’ brings her expertise in Project/Operations and Procurement Management to RAPT Industries at a critical time in its’ initial launch of RAPT’s commercial tools.
